Re: Vitamin D Supplements Cut the Risk of Asthma Attacks by Half: Study

Interesting. The second was "epidemiological" and based on low vitamin D blood levels, while the first apparently was a review of studies that gave supplements, right? The team of researchers analysed 955 participants in seven controlled trials that tested the use of vitamin D supplements...

Re: I keep seeing this Dr. on youtube saying

It is difficult for doctors and the average person to believe that a vitamin C deficiency is the cause of America's number one killer. And the fix is in, because as you often repeat, studies could (and should) have been done that would provide strong evidence one way or the other. However, these st...

Re: Vitamin C- which brand in UK

Our Vitamin C is made by DSM (formerly Roche) in Darby Scotland. They were the original manufacturers (back in the 1930s) and we believe it is the highest quality vitamin C on the planet. Now DSM has Chinese manufacturing plants, but if the product is labeled Quali-C, it is from Scotland. (Much lik...

Re: Ascorbic Acid Vs Ascorbyl Palmitate

I don't know anyone who megadoes ascorbyl palmitate. Dr. Levy recommends it in his books, along with sodium ascorbate and liposomal as a three pronged approach. The advantage is that as a fat soluble antioxidant (like vitamin E and alpha lipoic acid) it can work its magic in cell membranes and perh...

Re: I just have to keep telling my self

pamojja, We've noticed that an angiogram can report an artery wide open (inside) yet a FAST-CT scan can report very high arterial calcium. I suppose the calcium could be accumulating in the ground substance between cells inside the artery (your 3rd dimension) but we assumed it was "filling cra...

Re: DMSO for the resolution of Adrenal Malfunction

I used to take licorice as a remedy for my GERD - when I had GERD. It affected me adversely over time, perhaps my memory because I cannot remember the specifics and I stopped :)

Re: FDA Implements Changes to Nutrition Facts Label on Food Packaging

Some more nuances on the new food label requirements - vitamins A and E are no longer required on food labels ?!? http://ritchiecenter.du.edu/news/western-dairy-association-quick-look-new-food-label/ Modified list of required nutrients. Currently, the label must include Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calciu...

Re: Remarkable Report on Acua Chi effect (former forum member)

Interesting. And the Niacin angle makes sense if Hoffer's theory is correct, that almost 1/3 of the population has a brain genetic defect that high dose niacin corrects. You say you are in Romania - and your English is very good - so I will recommend that you try to read one of Sherry Rogers MD boo...
