Have been on metoprolol-100mg daily and losarten potassium 100mg daily. for hypertension. Started calcium ascorbate 3-8-07 bot more 5-7-07, more from vit C found. cardio C, and vit C powder.on ?? Believe my b/p #\'s are better but what could I take to hurry it up??

Dear Sir,

I know nothing about those specific medications, but I do know that generally, heart medications are given to vitamin C deficient beings (heart patients) to compensate for their chronically low vitamin C.

The reason calcium ascorbate is an inferior form of vitamin C is because the calcium limits the amount of vitamin C you can safely consume. We like the ascorbic acid in Cardio-C and our Powder.

To speed things up, I would consider taking more C, perhaps every 4 hours, to tolerance. (See http://www.orthomed.com/titrate.htm for details)
