*****Started 1000mg SLO-NIACIN on Sept 11 2013, and increased to 1500mg on Oct 11, 2013****
The Niacin has really reduce my particle number(LPL-P) to respectable 1130, lowered my LDL to 101, raised my HDL to 86…. However the PL-PLA2 cardiac inflammation marker has increased greatly to 180(from 97)(which is still within the “low risk” range)…Your thoughts? Am concerned about the significant increase in LP PLA2…
Am currently on;

Quit Lipitor for good in Aug 2013…
Your numbers look good, but I leave the obscure inflammation marker to johnwen.
I look at two numbers, total cholesterol and Lp(a). I didn't see Lp(a) ?? lipoprotein small "a')
Ideal total cholesterol is 180 mg/dl - and yours is now 200 mg/dl - good, but might indicate that you require more vitamin C, or that you have some underlying toxicity - probably dental, but perhaps from the drugs you are taking.
Cholesterol is a primary defense mechanism that rises in response to toxins (which may be the reason it drops when more vitamin C is taken, as vitamin c helps remove toxins from the body. Thank you Dr. Levy for uncovering this information.)
