Carotid arteries now completely clear

Today my b/f and I got the results of his ultrasound scans, and his carotid arteries are now completely clear.
In June 2012 he had a 100% blockage in a carotid artery which caused his stroke. His heart also checked out
just fine, on last week's ultrasound scans. His cholesterol levels are completely normal. This is the guy who will
not take more than 3 grams of vitamin C a day. He's also been taking one gram of Lysine per day, in 2 doses of
500 mg. He's been taking this for over a year now.
But there were a number of other things he's been taking, because he would not take any more
than 3 grams of C:
Pantethine 600 mg per day
Artichoke extract 450 mg
Tocotrienols 100 mg
Vitamin E regular tocopherols 400 IU
garlic 2 grams
Lecithin 1600 mg
Plus additional supplements for reducing homocysteine levels.
He's taking a bunch of other supplements, but these are the main
ones we worked out for clearing out his arteries - most specifically
the pantethine and artichoke extract. I would have tried guggul too,
but felt it was just too many pills for him.
Other changes we made soon after the stroke: we now cook with
olive oil only, no canola oil. We are now eating a low carb
and low fat diet, and he only eats meat once a week now.
I achieved this by either fermenting or sprouting grains
and beans to reduce the carbs. Or we use tofu.
So even though he was taking Zetia up until July 2013 (which
actually narrows the arteries), and is still taking Warfarin
which increases calcification in the arteries, they are
completely clear.
