Could this be a case of “Chronic Scurvy???”
Let’s see the tunica intima of a vein is mostly connective tissue termed subendothiel cells which is made up mostly of collagen type-1. Folds in the tunica intima form valves which keeps the flow of returning blood going towards the heart.
Enter scurvy! Collagen begins to break down causing the valves to become weak and fall apart since the veinal system is so large at first nothing! Then as it progress’s blood begins to pool in the veins and now when the person goes from a laying position to a sitting position the blood that was returning horizontally now has gravity working against it. Since the veinal valve system which has failed the blood now pools in the lower part of the body the heart doesn’t get the amount of blood to maintain pressures and the only way it can is to speed up which doesn’t do much good since the volume of blood to the heart is low. Upstairs lacks blood things get fuzzy and starts to go into conserve mode. Ie. “LIGHTS OUT!!”
We learned a long time ago from Dr. Pauling, Rath that Vitamin C, Lysine and proline are the key elements to maintaining healthy collagen levels which is the glue that holds us together and keeps our heart and circulatory system in top shape. This is just another example of this proven theory at work but the mentality of the medical wizards who believe if it don’t come from big pharma that only threats the symptoms it can’t work or make them rich.
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is
research!
