Linus Pauling never read the author's conclusions until he read the study himself and drew his own conclusions.
When Pauling was with us the studies were factual.
Today the rule is "If can't Dazzle them with Brillance, Baffle them with BS."
The best way today is read the title then read the acknowledgements. If it's paid for by a group of Big Pharma Companies all your going to read is How great whatever drug their testing is!!
Even if 90% of the study group parrished!
ie: Baffle them with BS!
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is
research!
