Taking niaspan, can I still take Pauling Therapy?

Post by ofonorow » Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:53 am

I take prescription Niaspan of 1500mg. I weigh 155lbs, 5\'7\" tall.

With this medication, my Cholesterol was reduced to 200, Triglyceride to 360, LDL to 100, VLDL to 65, Chol/HDL ratio to 5 & Glucose to 90.

If I were to take your medication, which is the right product? Can I still keep take the Niaspan?

Before this medication, my Triglyceride had been to 1000 and Cholesterol at 310.

Thank you

Yes, I would keep following your doctor's advice and continue taking the Niaspan (which is basically vitamin B3 - Niacin).

And yes, you can also take vitamin C and lysine too, and if Linus Pauling was correct - you should. Any other symptoms besides elevated cholesterol and triglycerides?

You should probably aim at 2 jars (2 servings daily) of any of our powders, and probably even more vitamin C. You can use this to help your determine your vitamin C tolerance

Once we know your tolerance, we can help you select the best product.
