vitamin C for skin

Ascorbic acid powder is sometimes mixed with a little water to make a paste and applied to cancerous and non-cancerous skin lesions. The lesions just drop off. Some individuals may have reactions to ascorbic acid applied directly on the skin.

Preparations for the skin, made popular by Dr. Perricone have a base of a form of vitamin C called Ascorbyl Palmitate.
There are numerous creams, gels, and serums made with this at all Health Food stores; some also carry Ascorbyl Palmitate Powder by Source Naturals.
