I have been following Paulings recommendation for several years now(BTW the only illness with me that it has never worked on was viral gastroenteritis).
Anyways when I hit bowel tolerance and have diarrhea I notice it has an unusual sweet smell to it not like poo at all, kind of hard to describe.
Should it change the odor of faeces when bowel tolerance has been reached?

I'd say this is a new one. Maybe vitamin C is reverting back to glucose in your system? Only half kidding.
