So, does Sodium Ascorbate not have bowl tolorance problems?

This forum will focus on the interesting topic of titrating oral vitamin C intake to so-called bowel tolerance, the point just prior to the onset of diarrhea

I know of no difference between ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate orally and bowel tolerance. If memory serves, there may have been a few comments here at this forum from people who have experimented and found their tolerance for one form greater than the other. If you have knowledge, please post. (In theory, some amount of AA is absorbed through the stomach lining, so at least in theory, tolerance for AA might be higher than SA because less of the AA reaches the rectum.)

Now liposomal forms, e.g. LivonLab.com Lypo-C avoids bowel tolerance issues as it is likely 100% absorbed before the rectum.
