Quite simply, Hank Boschen doesn't know what he is talking about. He is a vitamin C Complex promoter, an erroneous notion that has been given much review and rebuke on this site.
Read Owen's essay on this myth here: http://www.vitamincfoundation.org/NaturalC.htm

Boschen states that ascorbic acid is made by pouring hydrochloric acid over corn syrup, quite an idiotic description of both the Reichstein Process and the more modern methods of synthesizing ascorbic acid.

FYI vitamin C, ascorbic acid, is supported by at least 3 Nobel Laureates: Szent-Gyorgyi, Reichstein and Pauling.

The chemical composition of vitaminC was made by Haworth.

Also see my research on this subject here:

Haworth got the Nobel Prize also in chemistry in 1937 "for his investigations on carbohydrates and vitamin C"

So we are supposed to believe this juice guy over 4 Nobel Laureates?
