"Some evidence also suggests vaccines may not even be as effective against flu viruses as advertised. A review of the scientific literature by Tom Jefferson, an epidemiologist at the Cochrane Collaboration in Britain, finds little scientific data to support the effectiveness of flu vaccines in reducing infection or death. Jefferson told TIME in February that "we don't know what protection, if any, [flu] vaccines offer."

Re: Effectiveness of flu vaccine
Thanks, and I wish I had Dr. Mayer Eisenstein's story memorized, (and the name of his professor) as his adviser/mentor/professor during medical school made the same discovery about vaccines in general during his days as a "big wig" in the U. S. Government department of public health. He found that vaccines conferred no statistical benefits to public health. This "big wig" was subsequently fired, and become a professor of medicine at the University of Illinois. This influenced Eisenstein (homefirst.com) whose practice has always been completely vaccine free - with no cases of autism!
