Antioxidant-rich diets linked to lower type 2 diabetes risk

These so-called meta analysis studies seem easy to bend to fit an agenda, but this one has some positive points. The "agenda" seems to be only acknowledging the amount of antioxidants that appear in the diet.
The meta-analysis of observational studies revealed that a vitamin C intake of up to 70 mg per day can reduce type 2 diabetes risk by 24%.
Unfortunately, 70 mg per day is close to the faulty RDA. This finding doesn't mean much, other than those with scurvy suffer Type 2 diabetes.
