Post strange side effects regarding liposomal Vitamin C
Hi folkes,

glad to be apart of the community,

thanks for all the nice work you're doing here..

I have a dillema, maybe someone can help: I gave my mother a jar with liposomal vitamin C. She,unlike me, has suffered some strange effects: her hands got swollen and her ankles hurt. She got back ok only after she ate a mellon. Could this point to a kidney problem? She doesnt know of any illness, only high cholesterol. Could she not tolerate the soya lecithin?

I must tell you that in that time she drank some beer and some walnut licheur (which contains iodide) at a gathering. Could this influence?

thank you

A jar? Where did the jar come from? If it was derived from soy-lecithin, that could be an explanation.

Sorry for the confusion, I ment a glass jar, I've put the liposomal in a glass jar and she took 2 table spoons of 2-3 times a day. Do you think it was too much? If so, why this strange reactions and not the regular side effects, if any, for liposomal vit C? I took the same amount, and was ok.

thanks.

You are talking about homemade liposomal vitamin C, not a commercial product, that was my point. This creates many variables, not the least of which is lecithin.

I make my own liposomal vitamin c using an electric ultrasonic machine, filtered water, 1 TBS vitamin C powder and 3 TBS lecithin granules. So far, my homemade remedy has managed to stop the flu bug and the cold bug from giving me bronchitis. The only side effect I get is loose stool.
