Re: Vitamin C Adult Cells Into Stem Cells
Interesting: The first article wrote: Vitamin C accelerated gene expression changes and promoted a more efficient transition to the fully reprogrammed state. Somewhat to their surprise, they found that other antioxidants do not have the same effect...

Re: Vitamin C Adult Cells Into Stem Cells
Thanks for this! However, me suspects a little propaganda going on...Quote: Over the past few years, we have learned that adult cells can be reprogrammed into cells with characteristics similar to embryonic stem cells by turning on a select set of genes.
As far as I know, it is impossible to "reprogram" highly differentiated cells into undifferentiated, especially pluripotential cells. (This is the basic problem with the orthodox understanding and treatment of cancer. Such a "miracle" is assumed!! Somehow a differentiated slow dividing cell, say bone, tissue, etc. divides - is hit by a cosmic ray, and magically it turns into a highly aggressive (rapidly dividing) undifferentiated cell!)
So this story seems to have the objective of keeping as many doctors believing their training as possible.
If you add one word to "adult cells" in the above, i.e. change to "adult stem cells" then this makes more sense.
The Beard/Kelley/Gonzalez trophoblast "stem cell" theory makes a great deal more sense!
