What does everyone think about olive leaf extract?

Post What does everyone think about olive leaf extract?
Does anyone take olive leaf extract on a daily basis, or has anyone taken it and noticed results? I myself have never tried it, but the antibacterial effects intrigue me, as I tend to get sinus infections and don't like going on antibiotics if I can help it. Does this stuff work? From what I have read there is a 'die off' effect when first taking it for some people, where things get worse. I do not like this idea much, as it makes I am not too keen on that sort of thing.

I think that getting the vitamins in line is probably the most important things to help for health, but once that is set, has anyone noticed benefits from homeopathic or plant-based supplements?

Post Olive Leaf "Triggering" Last AA Synthesis Chain
I am surprised that those of you in Europe, with Vitamin C getting hard to get have not tried using olive leaves.I am using up to 30 leaves throughout the day with very good results.Sincerely,Van . PS, Vitamin C test strips give a good indication.

i think its awsome stuff
make sure you get olive leaf extract with a high Oleuropein percentage its usually 6% or a hefty 18%

now vitamins do a great product

one thing to watch with taking olive leaf extract is Herxheimer Response

which is a fancy term for the body detoxing :D

Post olive leaf
I so wanted to be able to take Olive Leaf extract. I tried it and immediately felt that my BP was lowered, but I am allergic to olive trees, and so my eyes watered up and felt irritated. I stopped taking it. That's ok, there are other great alternatives.

Post Olive Leaf
I think anyone living where olive trees grow should give olive leaf therapy a try.One at a time though as they are very potent. In a few minutes after ingesting one you actually feel a definate ascorbic acid rush.I wanted you to be aware of this. Thanks,Van

does anyone know the ascorbic acid content of an olive leaf by chance?

I understand that there are quite a few wild plants out there with very high naturally occuring vitamin c content.

Post Olive Leaf,Vitamin C Content
The vitamin C content is slight,I'm sure.I think that the components in the leaf actually enable the vitamin C synthesis process in humans.I think 1 leaf allows 1,000 milligrams to be produced.1 leaf actually give you a vitamin C rush. Thanks,Van
