i am really interested in hearing from you..

There are some natural ways to improve kidney function - including drinking more water to reduce the work load of the kidneys. And eating less protein. For example, their are studies of CoQ10 that show improved kidney function in the CoQ10 group vs. placebo.

Vitamin C and lysine are essential - meaning you must have them to exist, and the only issue is dosage. So I would start slow, perhaps following this protocol and monitoring function:

I'd add Glutathione, Vit D3, L-Carnitine & Arginine to that.

If you get a little stand off ish about L-arginnine use L-citrulline instead. (Because of some reports about people who had heart attacks then took L-Arginnine and didn't do to well)
Keep the comsumption of salty and sugary foods to a very small amount.

Thanks Johnwen for the info.

But won't we want increased renal perfusion?

I'm sure we both could write volume's on Oliguria but in general with limit knowledge of the patient just relaxing the arteries (arginine/citrulline) would probably offer some relief.
