Now that the cold war is over I guess it is ok to write about this.
The only problem with revealing this that I can see is that the more civilized
nations are so bound by the drug companies that they will not pay attention to
the following but more primitive countries may find this useful in
bacteriologic warfare. The drug companies do not want this found because
if the general usefulness of massive doses of ascorbate were well known, it
would be a financial disaster for the drug industry. An example of
how hard these drug companies are fighting vitamins is
Codex. They have kept secret how polio was cured
back in 1948 by Klenner with massive doses of sodium ascorbate intravenously.

Anyway, massive doses of sodium ascorbate
intravenously and to a lesser extent orally
will neutralize the toxicity of opiate like drugs. I think it does
this by eliminating all the free radicals involved. Irwin Stone thought
that in addition that there are ascorbate receptor sites on the human brain
that for millions of years were filled with ample ascorbate from the ascorbate
that animals (except man, monkey, and the guinea pig) make and that one end of
the narcotic hock into that receptor site and the other end sticks out and
does its crazy things. The receptor site far prefers ascorbate so
ascorbate kicks the narcotic out of the brain.
Libby worked with heroin addicts and found the same. In any event,
it works for every narcotic and barbiturate and most other toxins.
